AP Courses that Begin After the November 14 Ordering Deadline

AP Exam orders for courses that start after the November 14 final ordering deadline—i.e., second-semester, spring-semester, trimester, or block schedule courses—don’t incur the late order fee. The exam order for these courses must be submitted by March 13, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET). For courses that start after November 14, AP coordinators create "spring-semester only" class sections in AP Registration and Ordering. 

There’s not an option in AP Registration and Ordering to create a spring-semester exam only section. However, AP coordinators can still order exams for students who are enrolled in a spring-semester course at another school and plan to test at their site. Details are in the AP Coordinator’s Manual, Part 1.
