Schools Enable Access

Starting August 3, 2026, AP coordinators can enable access to BigFuture School and Connections for eligible AP students during AP Registration and Ordering setup.

Students Choose App Access During Course Registration in My AP

After their school enables access, students can choose to provide a mobile number to securely access the BigFuture School app during the process of enrolling for an AP course and completing their registration information in My AP.

Students Can Make a Choice Later in My AP

If a student does not provide a mobile number during AP course registration, they will have the option to do so later in My AP. If Connections is available, students can opt in during onboarding in the BigFuture School app.

Connections Puts Students' Privacy First

Connections™ is another optional program available to AP students through BigFuture School where they can discover nonprofit colleges, scholarship providers, and government agencies offering education programs that may be a good fit for them and that are actively looking for students like them. With Connections, no personal information is shared with institutions. Students choose whether to participate and decide if and when to share information directly with institutions.

*Not available in New York. A state, district, or school can choose not to offer Connections.
