Returning AP Exams with DHL

The information on this page is for AP coordinators and additional authorized staff (if applicable) who are responsible for returning AP Exam materials via DHL to the AP Program.

Schools outside the U.S. and Puerto Rico that don't receive pre-printed labels with their AP Exam materials will use the AP DHL Return Portal to generate and print their DHL return labels and schedule the pickup of their AP Exam return shipment(s). It is strongly recommended that users review the guide before accessing the portal. The guide will be available in early 2027. We’ll email applicable schools when it’s available. 

Important Information About Generating Return Labels  

You should plan to generate your return labels after you create your packing list(s) in AP Registration and Ordering but before you pack your return carton(s). In the AP DHL Return Portal, you’ll start a new return for each carton you’re returning, and you’ll need to know how many items are packed in each carton.
