Paying Your AP Exam Invoice

This page provides information on steps to take after the exams. Review complete information in the AP Coordinator’s Manual, Part 2.

AP Coordinator’s Manual, Part 2

The 2025-26 AP Coordinator’s Manual, Part 2 will be available in January 2026.

Deadline to Return Payment

The postmark deadline for payments to be submitted to the AP Program is  June 15, 2026. Late payments incur a $225 late fee.

Steps to Complete Before the Invoice is Generated

To ensure the invoice is accurate, the AP coordinator should do the following before it’s generated:

  • Indicate students eligible for fee reductions by April 30 (11:59 p.m. ET).
  • Indicate unused non-Bluebook exams per student per exam. Note: This is only required for AP Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish Language and Culture, AP Spanish Literature and Culture, and AP Music Theory Exams. (Fully digital and hybrid digital AP Exams don’t need to be marked as unused. This will be automatically updated after these exams for any students that didn’t test.)

Accessing Your Invoice

The invoice is directly generated by AP Registration and Ordering using the information from the AP Exam order. It’s then emailed to the AP coordinator after the late-testing administration ends. A copy of the invoice can also be accessed in AP Registration and Ordering once it’s been generated.

Returning Your Payment

If there’s a balance due, the AP coordinator should send back the remittance portion of the invoice with their payment. Mail it to the AP Program postmarked by June 15, 2026, using the Remittance Return envelope provided with the exam shipment. If that envelope has been misplaced, the mailing address can be found on the invoice.
