AP Psychology Revisions for 2024-25
We revised the AP Psychology course and exam for the 2024-25 school year.
Exam Overview
This is a fully digital exam. Students complete multiple-choice and free-response questions in the Bluebook testing app, with all responses automatically submitted at the end of the exam.

Section I: Multiple Choice
75 Questions | 90 Minutes | 66.7% of Exam Score
Questions will ask students to do the following:
- Define and explain content from a range of course topics
- Apply skills of concept application, data analysis, and scientific investigation
Section II: Free Response
2 Questions | 70 Minutes | 33.3% of Exam Score
Free-Response Question 1: Article Analysis Question (AAQ)
- Students will be provided with 1 summarized peer-reviewed source.
- Students can earn up to 7 points across 6 question parts:
- Research method
- Research variable
- Statistic interpretation
- Ethical guideline
- Generalizability of the study
- Argumentation and application
Free-Response Question 2: Evidence-Based Question (EBQ)
- Students will be provided with 3 summarized peer-reviewed sources on a common topic.
- Students can earn up to 7 points across 3 question parts:
- Provide a claim
- Provide 2 pieces of evidence from the sources to support the claim
- Provide reasoning to justify why the provided evidence supports the claim and apply related content from AP Psychology to help justify their response
