2027 AP Exam Late-Testing Dates

Late-testing AP Exams are administered during the third week of May. Find the 2027 late-testing dates here.

Occasionally, circumstances make it necessary for students to test late. To preserve the security of AP Exams, alternate versions of the exams are used for late testing. All students who participate in late testing at a given school must take these alternate exams on the scheduled late-testing dates at the scheduled times.

New: 2027 AP Exam Start Time Changes

Beginning with the 2027 AP Exam administration, start times for AP Exams administered in some locations have changed to prevent the disclosure of secure exam content across time zones. For most schools, including all schools in the lower 48 United States, Hawaii, and Washington, D.C., exams still begin at 8 a.m. local time and 12 p.m. local time.

In the exam schedule below, Session 1 and Session 2 represent the timeslots that are typically the morning and afternoon, respectively.
