Using the District Readiness Dashboard for Digital AP Exams

Learn how to use the Digital AP Exam Dashboard to monitor exam readiness for schools in your district. 

The Digital AP Exam Dashboard includes data for all upcoming digital AP Exams delivered on Bluebook. Use the dashboard to:

Get an overview of district readiness.
Find data on each school.
Use filters to identify schools that are behind in their readiness activities.

How to Access the Dashboard

The dashboard is available to all district users with access to school data. Just select the button on the My AP homepage.

Testing Windows

Data is organized by testing window; select a tab to view data for the current year’s standard, late, and exception testing windows.

Each tab includes charts summarizing aggregate data for your district and a table displaying school-level data. You can filter data in the charts and table as outlined below.

Aggregate District Data

Use the charts above the table to understand the progress of your district as a whole. Each school is counted once for every AP Exam administered. Important: All chart data reflects any filters you apply.  

Chart Descriptions

Schools administering 1+ exam: A unique count of schools administering exams.  
Exam orders: Counts exam orders.  
Subjects by school: A pie chart showing how many schools are administering each exam.
District progress: Shows how many schools met key progress indicators and how many did not.

Data Points Explained

The table includes columns about schools and exams, staff, and rooms. You can sort by any column and use the menu options at the top right of the table to download a CSV or Excel file.  

Schools and Exams

School name: Schools are listed once per exam ordered. Filter by 1 or more schools.  
Exam date: Displays exam date. Filter available. 
Exam time (local): Displays local start time.  
Subject: Displays AP subject. Filter by 1 or more subjects. 
Exam orders: Counts exam orders placed in AP Registration and Ordering.

Staff

The following columns provide insight into Test Day Toolkit activity for each exam:  

% coordinators and proctors confirmed: Of total coordinators and proctors added, the percentage who accessed the exam. 
Primary coordinator confirmed: Displays a checkmark if the primary AP coordinator accessed the exam. Filter available. 
Total coordinators: Counts all coordinators associated with the exam. 
Total coordinators confirmed: Counts coordinators who accessed the exam. 
Proctors added: Counts proctors added to the exam. Filter available. 
Proctors confirmed: Counts proctors who accessed the exam. Filter available. 
Other staff added: Counts other staff added to the exam.
