What should I know about the AP Computer Science Principles Exam?

The end-of-course exam remains fully digital in the Bluebook testing app. Students still submit their project in the AP Digital Portfolio by April 30, and complete multiple-choice and free-response questions as part of the end-of-course exam.

The AP Exam includes free-response questions about the AI Create Project, so students who earn a qualifying score for college credit have demonstrated their ability to design, build, and understand an AI-powered application.

More details will be in the CED, available in spring 2027.
