What do AP Computer Science Principles students do in the AI Create Project?

The AI Create Project replaces the Create performance task. In the AI Create Project, students design, program, and test an AI application for a specific audience. They consider what their users need and what kinds of responses would be useful, safe, and respectful. Students also show that they can explain how it works, test it, and use it responsibly.

Students are provided with a minimum of 9 hours of class time to complete and submit final program code, a video that displays the running of their program and demonstrates functionality they developed, and code segments for their Personalized Project Reference: Procedure and Procedure Call, Data collection, and Model and Decision-Making.
