What are IMEs?

IMEs are Input Method Editors used for typing Chinese or Japanese characters in student responses. No installation is required to use IMEs. Because the exam application uses Google IMEs, internet connectivity is required throughout the exam. Students can use the practice exam to become familiar with the IMEs.
