FAQ
Can my CEUs be used for state professional learning requirements?
Many states accept IACET accredited CEUs. You should review your local policies to confirm professional learning requirements in your state. Acceptance of CEUs is at the discretion of your school, district, and/or state licensing authority. College Board does not guarantee the acceptance of CEUs by your state or local agencies.
College Board is an approved provider in the states listed below. You must follow the state-specific steps after receiving your CEU certificate to ensure your clock hours are applied.
- Pennsylvania: – Complete the Act 48 Request Form.
- Washington: – Complete the Continuing Education Clock Hour Credit Form 1125 and submit it to the state agency in accordance with their processes. You will need to include your contact information and the name, hours, and date of the training you completed. Please reference your CEU certificate for this information.
If your state is not listed, you should submit your certificate to your local authority for review.
