Nonstandard Administration Report (NAR) in AP Registration and Ordering

Update for 2024 AP Exams: The NAR form is no longer available in SSD Online. Starting this year, you’ll access and generate the NAR through AP Registration and Ordering. As always, a NAR must be completed for students testing with approved accommodations on paper AP Exams and AP Chinese and AP Japanese Exams. NAR forms aren’t required for digital AP Exams.

Printed copies of the NARs must be provided to the proctor for each accommodated exam. NAR forms should not be returned with exam materials. Completed NARs need to be kept on file at the school for six months.

SSD coordinators can get an administrator code from their AP coordinator so they can access AP Registration and Ordering. A NAR can be generated for a student as long as they have an AP Exam order and accommodations approved by the College Board Services for Students with Disabilities office.

AP coordinators and SSD coordinators will print a NAR form for each exam a student is registered for. See below for details to generate single or multiple NARs at a time.

 Single Exams

  • On the Students page, on the student roster, go to the Actions dropdown in the right column for that student’s row.

  • Select Generate NAR from the dropdown list

NAR - Generate Single

  Multiple Exams

  • On the Students page, select a course in the Courses filter. (NARs can only be generated one course at a time.)

  • Check the top check box at the top left of the roster to indicate all students.

  • Go to Actions at the top left of the roster.

  • Select Generate NAR from the dropdown list.

  • NOTE: When you check the top check box for all students, AP Registration and Ordering will only generate the NAR for those students with accommodations.

You can also check the boxes for specific students and then generate the NAR.

Important: If you select the top check box to generate NARs for all students, a NAR will generate for paper and digital exams.

To filter out digital exams:

  • On the Students page, select a course in the Courses filter.

  • Select the students with “Standard,” “Std-Paper,” or “Late.”

  • Check the top check box to indicate all students.

  • Go to the Actions menu at the top left of the roster.

  • Select Generate NAR from the dropdown list.
