AP Precalculus: Chat with a Content Expert

We’re set up to help! Schools are now able to schedule both 1:1 and group Zoom chats with a content expert about offering AP Precalculus.

Whether your school is still thinking about offering AP Precalculus, has committed to AP Precalculus but is looking for pro tips, or just has general questions about the course or its benefits to student outcomes, a team of content experts is ready to help.

You can schedule a 1:1 Zoom chat or group session for your teachers at a time that’s convenient for you. There’s no charge to talk with AP content experts. Our team is ready to provide practical, course-specific guidance and support when you need it.

Note: The scheduling form for group sessions is coming soon. You'll find links to schedule 1:1 Zoom chats below.

You can ask the experts:

  • What schools and districts should consider before adopting AP Precalculus
  • What instructional shifts are most important when moving from traditional or honors precalculus to AP Precalculus
  • How AP Precalculus builds on Algebra 2 or Integrated Math 3 to support student growth and confidence in a fourth-year math course
  • How teachers can plan pacing effectively across the course, including content that is and is not assessed on the AP Exam
  • How schools can support a broad range of learners in AP Precalculus, including students who may be new to advanced math coursework
  • What teachers should know about the AP Precalculus Exam and how to align instruction and formative assessments to it
  • Lessons learned from schools implementing AP Precalculus now
