About AP Teacher Support Sessions

Learn how teacher support sessions work, along with the available subjects and session options.

These sessions are your opportunity to receive support in an online group setting with 5-10 fellow AP teachers during the school year. Session topics include understanding and planning the course, teaching the course, and assessing student understanding. The cost is only $50 per session.

In general, teacher support sessions are designed for tackling complex questions about an AP course. Public workshops are great places to learn the ropes of teaching an AP course, with quizzes, assignments, and written feedback to help hone your skills.

Intended Audience AP teachers with up to 3 years of experience. Teachers who are new to teaching AP.  
Content In-depth exploration of an AP course. Each session focuses on either planning, teaching, or assessing student understanding. Broad overview of an AP course.  
Designed for Teachers with Questions About Complex and/or course-specific issues. The basics of teaching AP. 
Duration 2-hour live session. 3-hour live session, plus 3 hours of on-demand videos and assignments.  
Availability Only available for some AP courses. Available for all AP courses. 
Group Size 5–10 participants. Up to 25 participants.
