AP Reading Updates and Schedule for 2025
What’s Changing for 2025?
For the 68th annual AP Reading, we are excited to continue working with ETS as our AP Reading event manager and to start working with Raise as our new employer of record for AP readers.
Existing AP Readers
You don’t need to apply again to be an AP reader, but you do need to onboard as an employee with Raise. Check your email for a July 2024 communication about next steps.
New AP Readers
If you want to apply to become an AP reader, visit the Raise application page to get started.
More information and answers to frequently asked questions are available on the Raise website.
2025 AP Reading Schedule
AP readers will continue to have opportunities to score student responses at AP Reading sites or from home. All scoring will be done via computer. Due to convention center renovations, all subjects that scored AP Exams in Cincinnati, Ohio, will move to Cleveland, Ohio, for the 2025 AP Reading.
Pre-readings will take place at AP Reading sites immediately prior to the Reading.
