Key Dates for the 2026 Reading

  • November 2025: Scoring location survey to obtain your availability and scoring preference (Reading site or at home)
  • February 2026: First round of invitations via email
  • March 2026: Second round of invitations (as necessary)
  • March to May 2026: Additional rounds of invitations (as necessary)
  • June 2026: AP Readings take place for all subjects

AP readers will continue to have opportunities to score student responses at AP Reading sites or from home. All scoring will be done via computer.

Pre-readings will take place at AP Reading sites immediately prior to the Reading.
