Will students be able to go back in the multiple-choice and free-response sections?

Yes. Students will be able to go back within a section or part (multiple choice/short answer, free response) to review and answer questions. As on the paper exam, students may not return to parts within a section that have already been completed. 

Note about exams with parts within a section:  

• In the history exams (AP European History, AP U.S. History, and AP World History: Modern), students may go back among questions in the current part (Part A or Part B) in Section 1, and among questions in Section 2. 
• However, in the exam for AP Seminar, students may go back and forth among Part A (Understanding and analyzing an argument) and Part B (Evidence-based argument essay), as on the paper exam.
