I’m unable to search for the exam application from the Chrome Web Store. What steps should I take?

As of March 22, 2024, there was an update in the Chrome Web Store, which impacts how to search for applications.  

Updated Steps to Install the 2024 AP Chinese and AP Japanese Exam Application on Chromebooks: 

  1. Log in to your Google Admin Console (admin.google.com).  

  2. From the Kiosks tab, select the organizational unit you’ll use for the exam(s), then select the + icon on the lower right.  

  3. UPDATE: Select Add Chrome app or extension by ID. 

  4. UPDATE: Copy and paste the following 32-character, case sensitive, Google-created extension ID into the search field, select Save, and then Select: 

    • cbmbklmcgjjgdghoempajlmalgofnhdg

  5. ETS APCJ will then appear as Installed in the Kiosks tab under the app list.
