AP School Honor Roll 2022-23 Recipients

4,570 schools—which represent 30% of eligible high schools—are being recognized for their work creating AP programs that are delivering results for students while broadening access. 

  • 886 schools (6% of eligible schools) received Platinum level AP School Honor Roll recognition. 

  • 914 schools (6% of eligible schools) received Gold level AP School Honor Roll recognition. 

  • 1,430 schools (9% of eligible schools) received Silver level AP School Honor Roll recognition. 

  • 1,340 schools (9% of eligible schools) received Bronze level AP School Honor Roll recognition. 

  • Of these 4,570 schools, 1,770 (39% of Honor Roll recipients) also received the AP Access award, demonstrating a clear and effective commitment to equitable access to advanced coursework. 

The recipients represent a broad range of high schools from across the United States (including U.S. territories) and Canada. They include private, public, and charter schools; large and small student bodies; rural and urban populations; and specialized high schools, along with generalized programs.
