If you’ve already created your portfolio and set up access, you can skip to My Portfolio.
If you haven’t created your portfolio yet, go to the AP Art and Design digital submission web application (shown below) and sign in.
If you’re new to the AP Art and Design digital submission web application, you’ll need to create an account.
Select your access type.
Select “Student” from the Select Your Access Type screen and click “Next”.
Set up your student access.
Fill out basic information on the Set Up Your Student Access page (shown below).
Create a username and password.
Create a username and password for the AP Art and Design digital submission web application. (The account you set up in the web application is different than your My AP account.)
Enter your 6-digit school code:
If you don’t know your school code, you can find it by clicking theto the right of the School Code box. (If you’re homeschooled, enter the code for the school that ordered your exam.)
Indicate which AP Art and Design Portfolio Exam(s) you’ll be submitting.
You’ll need to sign out and sign back in to the web application to work on a different portfolio.
Enter your key as follows:
- If your AP Art and Design teacher or AP coordinator gave you a key, you’ll need to enter that key next to your portfolio type.
- New! Updated April 2020: If you don’t have and cannot get a key from your teacher, you can use the following key for each portfolio type you’ll be submitting: aps2020. It’s important that you only use this key if you do not have one from your AP teacher or AP coordinator.
If you’re registered for more than one AP Art and Design Portfolio Exam, the next time you sign in to the web application, you'll be asked which portfolio you’d like to work on. You’ll need to sign out and sign back in to the web application to work on a different portfolio.
