Important: The Sustained Investigation and Selected Works sections and each portfolio type have specific requirements which aren’t detailed in this web application demo. To learn about these requirements, please see the AP Art and Design Course and Exam Description and the AP Art and Design Portfolio Requirements on the course pages.
For AP 2-D Art and Design and AP Drawing Portfolio Exams, students submit their Sustained Investigation section and digital backups of their Selected Works through the web application. For 3-D Art and Design Portfolio Exams, students submit works for both sections through the web application.
Within the web application, you’ll have the option to view a portfolio's contents once the student’s work is in progress and at any time before your AP coordinator submits the portfolio to the AP Program. To open a student’s portfolio, click the student's name on the Student Portfolio List.
- Once in the portfolio, click the section links—Sustained Investigation or Selected Works—on the Portfolio Progress Navigation menu, which is in the green shaded area at the top of the screen.
- In the Sustained Investigation section, you’ll be able to view the student’s images, responses for materials and processes, and written evidence. Click on the Images or Written Evidence tabs to review specific areas within that section. When you’re in the Images tab, click on a thumbnail to view the full-sized image.
- In the Selected Works section, you’ll be able to view the student’s images and their responses for ideas, materials, and processes.
- You’ll be unable to make any changes to the student’s work on these pages.
