In the rare event of a technical error or incomplete submission, teachers (or the AP coordinator) may send the portfolio back to the student with recommendations on how to correct the submission. Incomplete portfolios cannot be submitted.
Please note that all students have agreed to abide by the College Board Artistic Integrity Agreement. Even if a teacher (or the AP coordinator) were to suspect that a student may have plagiarized aspects of the portfolio, the teacher (or AP coordinator) must not send back the submission.
If the teacher or AP coordinator suspects a portfolio contains plagiarized images or other content, the AP coordinator should report it to College Board at email@example.com. If you determine that a student needs to take further action on a portfolio, you can return the portfolio to the teacher. (The portfolio must be in Forwarded to Coordinator status to do this.)
To return a portfolio, select Return Portfolio to Teacher from the Actions drop-down menu within a student’s portfolio. The teacher will receive an auto-generated email notification for each portfolio that’s returned to them. The email will instruct them to reach out to you, the AP coordinator, for more information about why the portfolio was returned.
