FAQ

Can students collaborate with their peers on the program code for the performance task?

Yes, in AP Computer Science Principles, students can collaborate with their peers on the programming portion of the performance task. Collaboration should occur only during the ideation and development of program code, including debugging and error testing. The creation of the video and the Personalized Project Reference must be completed individually, without any collaboration with a partner or anyone else. Students can develop the code segments used in the Personalized Project Reference with a partner or on their own. Written responses are completed independently on test day.
