A unique alphanumeric join code is automatically generated for each class section or exam only section that’s created. Students need the join code for each of their class sections so they can enroll in My AP. Communicate with your school’s AP teachers to let them know when you’ve created class sections. Teachers then sign in to myap.collegeboard.org to access the join code for each class section they teach.
For AP Coordinators
You can download a spreadsheet of all join codes. To do so, go to the Courses page in AP Registration and Ordering and click Download Section Info with Join codes. The spreadsheet will contain:
- course names
- all section names and types (standard full year, second semester, exam only)
- the corresponding teacher names
- the active join code for each class section or exam only section
- the number of student enrollments in each section
For AP Teachers
After signing in to myap.collegeboard.org, you can click View Join Code + on the course card for each class you’re teaching.
