Online Resources Recommended by AP Teachers
We surveyed AP English Language and Composition teachers about what online resources they recommend, and the list below comes directly from their responses. The list also includes teacher descriptions of the resources. This is not a comprehensive list, nor is it an endorsement of any of these resources by the College Board.

- Provides a catalogue of speeches from a variety of different time periods; includes full speech text and audio when available.
- Online text with multiple-choice, guided reading questions, and student support
- Provides a searchable catalogue of texts paired with guiding questions, multiple-choice questions, and discussion questions. Platform scores student multiple-choice questions and provides exemplars for student written responses.

- Offers instructional videos to help guide teachers and students through different components of the AP English Language and Composition course.
The New York Times Learning Network
- Online text; self-directed student practice; online tutorials and resource pages for teachers and students
- Provides resources for student writing and teacher lesson plans based on current events; publishes teacher and student content with multimedia content for cross-curricular learning. Resources are free but lessons plans are limited to five per month for nonsubscribers.

Provides student grammar practice; allows students to understand common written misconceptions and improve writing skills. Free for basic users but there is a premium version for a fee.
