FAQ

Are students required to use the AP Digital Portfolio to take the AP Exam and receive an AP score?

Yes, students are required to use the AP Digital Portfolio to take the AP Exam and receive an AP score. The Create performance task makes up 30% of the overall course grade. If students want their performance task to be scored, they must submit the performance task as final in the AP Digital Portfolio before April 30 submission deadline at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Teachers should check the confirm the current year's submission deadline. Additionally, if students do not submit their Personalized Project Reference by the above deadline on the AP Digital Portfolio, they will not have this resource available on exam day to complete their written response section.

We highly recommend that students submit their performance task in addition to taking the end-of-course AP Exam. Students must take an end-of-course AP Exam to receive an AP score.
