- Most exams are sent to the AP coordinator via courier and arrive at the school in mid- to late April.
- International schools (except for those in Canada) that place their exam orders by April 13 receive their shipments of regular exams by April 27.
- Schools in the United States, U.S. territories, and Canada that place their exam orders by April 20 receive their shipments of regular exams by April 30.
- Alternate exams for late testing arrive in May.
All exam materials for a school's regularly scheduled exams are shipped together, except for AP Studio Art portfolios and preadministration materials (if ordered). Alternate exams for late testing, braille exams, multiple-day testing exams, assistive technology–compatible (ATC) format exams, and 14-, 20-point, or greater than 20-point large-type exams are sent in separate shipments. For security reasons, shipments aren’t sent to schools long before the exam administration.
